On Friday our class went to the InterACT Art Festival at the Corbans Estate at Henderson to learn Tape Art. I made a bracelet and it was nice. We watched shows. We saw Vicky and her sister danced and they were great. Some people got their face painted but I didn't. In shed 2 we decorated a book using colour pencils which was tied together with string. I wrote my name in rainbow colours in my book.  We had lunch outside the Opanuku room where it was nice and sunny. It was a fantastic day and I can't wait to go next year.

The Shake Out by Leya

Last Thursday everyone got under their desks  to protect ourselves in case of an  earthquake. I was keeping myself safe by holding the legs of the table.   The bell was noisy and   I got scared and I was uncomfortable.  I hope we never have an earthquake at our school.

Holidays by Monica

I had a lovely holiday because I saw  my  friend Shanann.    She   came   over   to  visit  me.  We played rugby  card games  and  took  photos on my phone of each other . I had a nice time with her. I  watched a movie called Pixel with Katy and Life kidz people at the  Sylvia Park cinema It was a nice movie to see. We had fun.

Tennis Holiday Programme by Kate

I had a beautiful holiday because I went to a tennis holiday programme. The coach taught me how to do forehand and backhand.  I had morning tea and lunch before  Mum picked me up. I played Xbox.  It was fun.

My Trip to St Lukes

I had a great holiday because I went to St Lukes. My uncle Roger came to my house to pick me up for the day. We caught a train and a bus because Uncle Roger lives near St. Lukes which is a long long way from my house. When we got off the bus we walked to his house where I saw my Aunty Sandra, Danneka and Shaun. We all went to St. Lukes. My favourite thing was eating egg and chips which I bought at the Food Court. i was happy because it was a fun day.

I had pork and scrambled egg for dinner. Mum cooked them and I helped mum. I had the pork with barbeque sauce. Dad helped with doing the dishes.

My Holiday by William

I had a fantastic holiday because I went to One Tree Hill to climb the hill because I have never climbed  it before. We saw some cute lambs there and some beautiful flowers. It was hard to climb and I got tired and I had to rest a few times. When we got to the top we had buns and chips for lunch. The view was beautiful and we took some photos on our camera. I really liked the lambs the most.  What a great family day we had.
